CocoKouture

For the last few months I have been interning at an online magazine called CocoKouture. I have been part of the beauty team where I focus on writing anything about makeup, skincare, beauty products, tanning products and haircare.

I have been doing this to broaden my knowledge of the magazine world and doing this online has better opportunities for young budding writers like myself. I focus mainly on writing about film, travel and art on my personal blog and music for the website OdyseaEntertainment. I love writing and gaining experience online has really helped me gather knowledge about this fast paced career.

You have to meet deadlines, research for the correct information, find images under the correct licensing agreements and much more. The fact that this magazine has given me the opportunity to work with them for another semester means I have even longer to learn as much as I possibly can.

I have decided to promote them here as well as provide the links to my articles and my online profile on the magazine so everyone can see my writing for fashion and beauty instead of reviewing. I recommend a lot of great products I have either used myself or researched.

Remember, every like, follow and comment is greatly appreciated so I hope you enjoy all the articles!

These are just a few so please have a look and let me know your feedback. I am still learning a lot about fashion and beauty but I am loving the internship as a guest writer/blogger!

If you are interested in getting into writing, make sure you get as much experience as possible, try online opportunities like this so you can write at home and still hold down a job to earn! You need to begin blogs and keep active in your writing! Don't let anything get you down, keep writing for fun as well as finding internships. Then you can build up a portfolio you feel happy with knowing you put all your effort into it.

I am looking to not only work within a press magazine, fashion website, or online mag but also to write my own novel in the future. I write poetry and short stories and hope to be published one day, with the help of promotion via my blog and twitter, I hope to do so in the near future.

I thought I would share this with my followers and hope you enjoy this extra aspect to my writing!

Below is my promo video for CocoKouture! Hope you enjoy it and subscribe if you would like a sub back!

Caprice @ ASOS

Caprice is first and foremost a supermodel but has also turned her hand to acting, presenting and now designing. She has designed her own range of lingerie and swimwear for the online store ASOS. She has been designing for ASOS for some time now but her latest collection caught my eye. Not only for my love of leopard print but also for the new cuts and designs she has created for her new swimwear range.

Her new range of bikinis uses block colours and bright combinations that catch a girls eye. Her underwear range is sexy and colourful. All of her styles are very girly and frilly but make a change from what I have seen in stores recently. She has mixed thongs with the brazilian style as well as lace shorts and briefs. All look fabulously sexy!
Lilylou Embroidery & Bow Brazilian Thong
Connie Lace Briefs

The Flamenco Brazilian Brief
Now on to my favourite part of her collection - SWIMWEAR.

I am absolutely in love with two peices I have seen that scream GLAM! They of course are the two that are leopard print and I feel are a must for the beaches this year!

Whether you are a lover of the bikini or the cut-out swimsuit Caprice has covered both ends of the summer spectrum with these two peices of swimwear. I love the girlyness of the bikini with the bows and the edgyness of the swimsuit.

If you can rock it, rock it in leopard print this summer!

Check out this new range By Caprice on http://www.asos.com/ click on what's new and check out all the sexy styles I have mentioned!

Caprice has also been on MTV Cribs recently and shows us around her home in West London. She also gives us a sneak peak into some of her new bikini range on this episode! Check it out >>>

Emma Watson - Fashion Icon?

I have really taken to Emma Watson's new style. She has never really caught my eye especially since her acting skills in the Harry Potter films were less than impressive. Her acting improved through the films but to me she was not a star to begin with. She seems to have taken the public by storm with her new hair do as well as her new career opportunities in fashion.

Emma is now modelling for Burberry and has been on the cover of Vogue, she is living every young fashion-obsessed girls dream. She has featured in many top fashion magazines such as Marie Claire, Vanity Fair and many more. She is also working on projects such as People Tree helping to design a younger range of fair trade clothing.

She has put her Liberal Arts Degree at Brown University on hold to focus on the final Harry Potter film - ''Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2''. The film is OUT NOW in cinemas.

No matter what happens now the Harry Potter franchise has kicked her career into gear and I definetly see a successful career in Fashion for this young star.

Check out her official website http://www.emmawatson.com/

New girl on the scene , still fresh and innocent looking. Scruffy hair and highlights. She doesnt strike me here as anything special, the girl next door look.
Sexy film star, new short cut highlighting her fantastic features, block hair colour making her look more mature. Smokey eye makeup and effortless beauty, much more film and model potential here.
